It was great shooting Raven for her high school senior portraits. She was great and the camera just loved her! We did most of the shoot outdoors, but used the beautiful indoor light for her & her guitar.

The beach is the best place here in Washington, as long as you can find some shade. Can’t believe I am saying that. The sun is out!!!!

Here are some more images. Good luck in this your final year Raven!

Sometimes it is nice to see what color looks like in a warm B&W. I like the warm feel to a b&w image. Even though I love b&w, adding a bit of brown to the mix is the new trend. A little like the old sepia toned image with a new twist.

Amanda was so easy to work with. We went to Point Defiance so we could use a variety of different locations. She was happy and it showed. I really put her through the paces of posing, and by the end of the afternoon, she was tired, but happy! Here are some samples of our shoot together.

We shot this at the end of the day to take advantage of b e a u t i f u l light. Now that I am back in the pacific northwest, I am remembering all the wonderful things about cloudy days, soft evening haze and the wonder of casual living.

This was so much fun! A few photographer friends and I used the backdrop of a gorgeous million++ home in Seabeck, Washington. Brokers, food, music and a Corvette convertible gave us fodder for images.

I am just beginning to peek into the world of blogging! Yeah …… Here I am tip-toeing through what is a brand new world for me. I will eventually have different things up but for now, I will start to tip toe before I start running. I am open to suggestions!
